Elastimold fuses cover a wide range of applications and ratings and are designed to be easily replaced with minimal downtime. Molded current limiting fuses (MCLF) provide fault current protection from 35kV to 50kA. Molded fuse canisters (MCAN) provide protection from 25kV to 50kA. Both are suitable for single-phase tap/load protection and can be used in vault, subsurface, or padmount installations. Fused loadbreak elbows (FLR) provide low cost, convenient protection for radial taps, junctions, transformers and other equipment. They combine the advantages of general purpose current limiting fusing with the convenience of 15kV, 200 amp hotstick operable, loadbreak elbow switching.
