FEATURES
COMBUSTION CHAMBER/HEAT EXCHANGER ASSEMBLYcombustion chamber/heat exchanger assembly
Although waste oil burns very clean, there is a residue of ash, which collects over time in the combustion chamber and heat exchanger. Removal of the ash is easy in the Reznor Waste Oil Heater because the chamber has been designed for quick access. The combustion chamber is placed above the heat exchanger, which forces a downward draft and prevents the natural tendency of the flame to rise. This maintains even temperatures throughout the combustion chamber walls and prevents thermal stress and cracking. This unique design, featuring a completely stable flame, is one reason why The Reznor Waste Oil Heater carries the industry's longest warranty - 10 years. See limited warranty form for complete details.

a - b - c chartA - All flames have a natural tendency to rise.
B - The design of the Reznor Waste Oil Heater forces the downward draft.
C - The result is a horizontal flame and even temperature on the chamber walls.

DUCTABLEwaste oil heaters
Reznor Waste Oil Heaters are ideal for space heating in an open garage or workshop area. With the optional blower, the heat can also be used to duct heat to all parts of a building.
work benchOPTIONAL WORK BENCH TANK
The multi-purpose oil tank is for use where work and storage spaces are at a premium. It serves a triple purpose: desk, work table and storage tank. Furnished with an attractive enamel finish, this UL Listed Work Bench Tank has a toe space to provide comfortable operator working conditions. It is engineered and constructed of 12 gauge carbon steel with a durable top working surface, having provision for mounting the remote pump and fill opening.

OPTIONAL WORK BENCH STAND
Reznor Used Oil Heaters can be suspended from your ceiling or mounted on the optional Work Bench Tank. This suspended unit photo shows the RAD 235 heater with optional vertical louvers. Reznor Used Oil Heaters are shipped complete. No assembly is required prior to installation.

INDOOR BOILER WITH USED OIL BURNER
Model RAB used oil boilders include the same style burner, oil preheater, and positive displacement pump as other Reznor multi-fuel products. The boiler is made of silicone injected, gray cast iron giving it excellent corrosion indoor boiler with used oil burnerresistance, flexibility, and high thermal conductivity. The unique water flow pattern eliminates thermal shock by using supply water to preheat the return water before it enters the main heat exchanger. Model RAB used oil boilers meets EPA requirements for disposal of used oil. The ultra-heavy duty cast iron boiler is designed to be impervious to thermal shock.
REMOTE FLOW CONTROL PUMPremote flow control pump
No other waste oil heater has this patented flow control pump which provides reliable operation. No matter what kind of fuel the heater is burning, #2 fuel oil or any combination of waste oils up to 50 weight, the pump automatically delivers a constant flow of the right amount of oil to the burner. This eliminates all the problems of continual adjustments that have to be made with other types of waste oil heaters.
operating hour counterOPERATING HOUR COUNTER
To maintain maximum efficiency, the heat exchanger and the combustion chamber need to be cleaned periodically. In order to accurately predict the cleaning schedule, the Reznor Waste Oil heater has a timer, which automatically counts the hours of operation.
pre-heating system PRE-HEATING SYSTEM
The proper burning of waste oil depends on warming the oil to permit atomization for complete combustion. The oil warming assembly is a large aluminum cylinder, which is located outside the burner for easy access. It warms the oil slowly to prevent overheating and clogging that is typical of other brands. This unit can be easily disassembled for thorough cleaning.
patented thermally balanced nozzlePATENTED THERMALLY BALANCED NOZZLE
A thermally balanced nozzle line maintains the temperature of the oil on its way to the nozzle, which enable immediate ignition when there is a call for heat. The design of the patented oil-warming device eliminates the problem of nozzle after-drip -- typical of other waste oil heaters -- which can cause carbon build-up.
on-board air compressorQUIET, ON-BOARD AIR COMPRESSOR
The atomization essential for burning waste oil depends on the injection of primary combustion air into the oil. The Reznor Waste Oil Heater has a built-in air compressor on the burner assembly for self-sufficient, reliable, and quiet source of air. This eliminates the inconsistency commonly found with other brands that utilize shop air or auxiliary air compressors.
